Dental Staff

Dr. Barry Moss is the Owner of and Clinical Director at Moss Dental Group. He divides his time amongst a few locations and enjoys discussing more complex cases, as well as mentoring all our doctors drawing from his 26 years of experience. He grew up in Brooklyn, NY and was raised in Central New York. He completed his undergraduate degree in Westchester County New York, which is where he met his wife. During college, he helped run the Emergency Medical Services on campus and this is where he developed his passion and love for helping people. He received his dental degree (DMD) in 1996 from Temple University. While there he completed externships in oral surgery as well as worked in emergency medical services. Dr. Moss has been a Pennsylvania resident for 27 Years. He began his dental career holding licenses in five states and working for a company that specialized in mobile dentistry for residential facilities throughout these states, as well as participating in running Soldier Readiness Programs (SRP) for the military. While there he achieved the director of Clinical Dentistry for over 95 facilities. Dr. Moss purchased Susquehanna Dental arts in November of 2020. He really loves the hometown feel of the office and along with his amazing team has tried to adhere to the standards of Dr. Allison. He is thankful for our dedicated staff and patient-driven doctors. Dr. Moss enjoys all facets of Clinical Dentistry, especially Surgery and placing/ restoring implant and Implant-supported Dentures. But his passion lies in his interactions with his patients. He has been known to have some funny voices for his young patients and crack a joke or two for those patients who will listen. He lives in Hershey, PA with his understanding wife, two amazing daughters, two dogs, and two rescue cats, and two Guinea Pigs. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his family, doing projects around the house, and loves landscaping (or just digging a few holes to plant trees) to relax. His passion has always been helping people and hopes to practice for many years to come
